I called USCIS and talked to a very friendly IO. He said that either nebraska center will foward my application to the correct office, or they will send it back to me. He said that I could send another application to the correct address, but then its very possible that they will cash both the checks. If I stop payment on the nebraska check, then they will send me an invoice, asking for the processing fee of $340. I sent my passport renewal to CGI houston on Apr 5. I called them last week and they said they registered it on Apr 8th and it is under processing. I will be traveling to India on May 18.Will I get my passport before that date or do I file Tatkal. Or how long can I wait before sending tatkal costs. The lady who answered the phone told me that I do not need to file tatkal and hung up. I am confused about what to do next. Please advise. again, as I mentioned, there is not much we can do about it. People try to apply under EB2, no matter whether or not additional 55K. We can not stop them. Politics is all about compromise. Do you agree with this bill will also do something good for EB3? It may not be a prefect bill, but it is also close to perfection as we can get to this point, is not it? Yes that would make perfect sense logically but wil not happen because don't you know that persons who did MS in US are the elite. They are the best minds and make the most money and add the most to the US economy while guys who are working in US are are well lets just say not usefull to the economy and just taking free money. So looking at this issue from US side it makes sense to explicitly provide these 55 k visas to only US educated persons so that they can add more to the ecomony. And lest sface it who cares for guys who just work here but are not educated here.
